Sodium Hyaluronate
Appearance: White powder
Application: Can be used for moisturising essence, mist, anti-aging cream, whitening essence, soothing mask, make-up lotion.
Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt form of hyaluronic acid, alias sodium vitreous acid, a glucuronide, a natural polysaccharide widely found in human connective tissues, skin, eyes and joint fluids. In terms of physical properties, it has good optical transparency and can remain clear and transparent in solution; it has typical non-Newtonian fluid properties, i.e., its viscosity changes with the shear rate. In terms of chemical properties, the hydroxyl and carboxyl groups in its molecule give it a certain chemical reaction activity. Sodium hyaluronate has excellent moisturising, anti-aging, repairing and lubricating functions, and is therefore widely used in cosmetic, medical and health care fields.
