Tetrasodium EDTA is the tetrasodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). It is a white, crystalline, and highly water-soluble powder. It forms extremely stable, water-soluble complexes (chelates) with di- and trivalent metal ions.
