Caprylyl Glycol is a very effective viscosity regulator, with both moisturizing and fat-adding properties, and also contributes to the antibacterial preservative of cosmetic formulations. Caprylyl Glycol can be used alone or combined with some ingredients, and with other alkadiol preservatives used together, has a strong antibacterial activity, so that most cosmetics have their own anti-corrosion effect, without the need to add traditional preservatives. Therefore, Caprylyl Glycol can be used as a substitute for paraben esters or other undesirable preservatives.
