Choline chloride 60% corn cob base is a feed-grade nutritional additive produced by spraying choline chloride solution onto selected corn cob meal and drying to a controlled moisture level. It appears as a yellow-brownish, free-flowing powder that disperses evenly in compound feed and vitamin-mineral premixes. Supplied by Nanjing Jiayi Sunway Chemical Co., Ltd. under the SUNWAY brand, each batch is tested against GB34462-2017 before release.
Choline chloride carries CAS 67-48-1 and the molecular formula C₅H₁₄ClNO (molecular weight 139.62 g/mol). Choline acts as a methyl-group donor and a structural building block of phosphatidylcholine in cell membranes. It supports very-low-density lipoprotein secretion from the liver, which helps limit abnormal fat accumulation, and it is a precursor of acetylcholine for nerve-impulse transmission. In monogastric species, endogenous synthesis is generally insufficient during high-production phases, so dietary supplementation is a standard nutritional practice.
Liquid choline chloride is sprayed onto ground corn cob, mixed thoroughly in a horizontal blender, and dried until free moisture falls within specification. The resulting granular powder flows freely, resists caking under sealed storage, and accepts uniform coating in vertical mixers.
The table below records the release standard under GB34462-2017 alongside a representative batch result:

Choline Chloride (as C5H14NCLO on dry basis) | ≥60% min | 60.52% |
Total Free amine/ammonia[as(CH3)3N] | ≤0.03% | 0.0210% |
Loss on Drying | ≤4.0% | 0.44% |
Arsenic(As)mg/kg | ≤2 mg/kg | 2 mg/kg |

In broilers, laying hens and weaned piglets, choline chloride supplementation supports liver fat metabolism, average daily gain and feed conversion. In layer flocks it contributes to egg-mass stability and hatchability. The corn cob powder integrates directly into mash and pelleted rations without a pre-dissolving step.
For freshwater fish, marine fish and shrimp, choline supports hepatopancreas function and reduces the incidence of fatty liver syndrome, a common constraint in intensive aquaculture. Because choline chloride is water-soluble, the additive distributes uniformly through the feed matrix during extrusion or steam pelleting.

Standard packing is 25 kg nett kraft-paper bags with inner PE liner, palletised and shrink-wrapped; customised packing is available for commercial users. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, sealed away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Shelf life is typically 24 months from production date under recommended conditions.
Every shipment includes a batch Certificate of Analysis covering assay, free amine/ammonia, loss on drying, arsenic and heavy metals. The production site operates under ISO 9001 and holds IAF, CQC, SGS, HALAL and REACH documentation. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or Intertek can be arranged before container loading for enterprise customers.
Liquid choline chloride (typically 70% or 75%) is dosed in liquid feeding lines, whereas the 60% corn cob powder is engineered for dry premixes and compound feed. The fibrous carrier improves flowability in standard dry-mixing plants.
Yes. The powder is widely used in aquafeed for carp, tilapia, shrimp and marine species, where it supports hepatopancreas health and growth performance.
MOQ is generally one 20-foot container for regular feed-grade contracts; sample quantities of 1–5 kg can be dispatched for laboratory evaluation before volume orders.
