PEG-100 Stearate, a carefully synthesised emulsifier made from polyoxyethylene stearate and glycerol monostearate, is designed to improve the surface tension of the components of an emulsion to promote the formation of a homogeneous and stable dispersion or emulsion. Its unique combination of hydrophilic and lipophilic properties allows for effective aggregation at the oil/water interface, lowering interfacial tension and reducing the energy required for emulsion formation, thereby improving emulsion stability.
