Cetyl ethylhexanoate, also known as hexyl iso-octanoate, commonly known as seabird feather oil, is a highly efficient waterproof and excellent emollient, which can be miscible with almost all cosmetic oils. It has the advantages of good permeability, spreading, dispersing and moistening.
